Говь-Алтай аймгийн Хөхморьт суманд бүрэн бус дунд сургууль, Архангай аймаг дахь багшийн сургууль, Д.Сүхбаатарын нэрэмжит Намын дээд сургуулийн дээд курс, УБИС-ийг монгол хэлний багш, утга зохиолын ажилтан мэргэжлээр тус тус төгссөн.

1978 оноос Говь-Алтай аймгийн Баян-Уул сумын дунд сургуульд багшилж ажлын гараагаа эхлэсэн. 1979-1982 онд Ардын цэргийн алба хаасан. 1982-1984 онд Улаанбаатар хотын 60 дугаар дунд сургуульд түүхийн багш, 1984-1987 онд Баянхонгор аймгийн ХЗЭ-ийн хооронд зааварлагч, 1987-1992 онд УБИС-д оюутан, 1992-1999 онд Монголын радиод сурвалжлагч, ахлах редактор, 1999-2000 онд БНХАУ-д Олон улсын радиод мэргэжилтэн, 2000 оноос өнөөг хүртэл Монголын Үндэсний Олон Нийтийн Радиогийн нийгмийн нэвтрүүлгийн албанд сурвалжлагчаар ажиллаж байна.

2004 онд шилдэг дуу шалгаруулах “Морин хуур” наадиын олны таашаалд нийцсэн шилдэг дуу номинацид тэргүүн баяр, 2005 онд “Алтан өд” шагнал, 2006 онд “Цагаан лавай” шилдэг дуу шалгаруулах уралдааны тэргүүн байрын шагналаар тус тус шалгарчээ.

Түүний ажил, уран бүтээлийн амжилтыг өндрөөр үнэлж “Алтан гадас” одон, Ардын хувьсгалын 80 жилийн ойн медаль, МЗЭ-ийн нэрэмжит шагнал, тэргүүний сэхээтэн залуу” алтан медаль, Оюутны эрдэм шинжилгээний шилдэг бүтээлд олгодог хошой алтан медаль, “Ган үзэгтэн” цол тэмдэг, Радио телевиз, хэвлэл мэдээлэл, Хүнс ХАА-н тэргүүний ажилтан цол тэмдгээр шагнасан байна.

Journalist and poet Munkhtur Lkhanaa Besud was born in Khukhmorit soum /smallest administrative unit/ of Gobi-Altai province in 1957. Munkhtur is a member of the Mongolian Writers’ Union and the Confederation of Mongolian Journalists. He is a Doctor of Linguists.

He studied in the secondary school of Khukhmorit soum of Gobi-Altai province, the Teachers’ College of Arkhangai province, the MPRP’s institute named after Sukhbaatar. D and the Teachers’ University of Mongolia. His major is a Mongolian language teacher and a specialist of literature.

His working career started from the secondary school of Bayan-Uul soum of Gobi-Altai province in 1978. In 1979-1982, he went to military service. In 1982-1984, he worked as a history teacher in the 60^th secondary school of Ulaanbaatar and he studied at the Teachers’ University of Mongolia in 1987-1992. In 1992-1999, he worked as a reporter and a senior editor of Mongolian National Public Radio. In 1999-2000, he was working as an expert in the China International Radio. Since 2000, he has been working as a reporter of the Social program department.

Journalist and poet Munkhtur Lkhanaa published number of poetry books such as “Aduun zusmiin uul” /Horse color mountain/ in 1994, “Morin Uul” /Horse mountain/ in 1995, “Khiimori uul” /Inspiration mountain/ in 1999, “Nutgiin zam” /Country road/ in 2004 and “Zuulun zuulun zambuulin” /Right live reach nice life/ in 2009. He also published research, information and story books like “Words’ meanings and structures of Mongolian horse colors”, “Blue horse” small encyclopedia, “Growing gold” in 2005 and 2008 as well as a CD called “Zuv yavbal zuulun zuulun zambuulin” /Right live reach nice life/ released in 2008.

He has a number of prizes. In 2004, his song won a prize of the most popular song of the “Morin Khuur – 2004” nationwide contest and he won the first place in the competition of love song “Khongorzul” /Lilly/ in 2005. He was awarded the “Golden Feather” prize which is the best prize of poetry in 2006. In 2006, his song won the Grand Prix of “White conch” songs contest. In 2007, he awarded a prize of the Mongolian Writers’ Union. His books published in Russian and Chinese.

The Mongolian state highly valued his contribution and awarded “Polar star” medal, “Medal of the 80^th anniversary of people’s revolutionary”, “The best young worker” medal, medals for Students’ scientific work, a journalists’ medal of “Steel pen” and he is also the best worker of media and food and agriculture.
